In short: Refertrack does not collect, transmit, or share your data with any external server. All data — including your health values — stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account.

Refertrack is an iOS app for tracking blood test results over time, developed by Matteo Lubinu.

2. Data that stays on your device

Refertrack stores locally, via SwiftData, the information extracted from the lab reports you photograph or import yourself:

• Lab values and parameters (e.g. cholesterol, glucose, vitamin D, blood count) with their reference ranges
• Photos and PDFs of the original reports
• The trend of each value over time
• Multiple profiles (e.g. yours and a child's or family member's), kept separate from each other
• Reminders to recheck a value
• App preferences (theme, Face ID/passcode lock)

This data never leaves your device, except for the optional iCloud sync described below.

3. How reports are read

Recognition of values from reports (OCR) happens entirely on-device, using Apple Vision. No image or extracted text is ever sent to external servers, not even during processing.
